How to use LiteCompress
Compressing an image takes only a few seconds. Follow these steps, then fine-tune the settings to get exactly the file size you need.
Step by step
- 1
Choose what you are compressing for
At the top, pick a mode: "For a platform" — ready presets for Wildberries, Ozon, Amazon and others (size, format, and crop ratio are set for you) — or "Just compress" for a quick compression with the best default settings.
- 2
Upload your photos
Drag files into the upload area or click "Choose file". You can add one image or several at once.
- 3
Crop if you like
Click "Crop" on a file. In "For a platform" mode the ratio is locked to the platform requirement; in "Just compress" you can pick any — 1:1, 3:4, 4:3, 16:9, or free.
- 4
Compress and download
Click "Compress" — everything runs locally in your browser. In the preview, compare before and after, check quality and crop, then download one by one or all at once.
What the controls do
- For a platform / Just compress
- Two modes. "For a platform" sets the size, weight, format, and crop ratio for the chosen marketplace. "Just compress" is a quick compression with no platform tie-in.
- Compression level
- Three buttons — "Smaller file", "Balanced", and "Best quality". Choose between the lightest size and the sharpest result; "Balanced" suits most cases.
- Compress to a target size
- Enter a target weight in KB (e.g. 200 KB) and the quality is picked automatically to stay under the limit. Handy for forms and documents.
- Crop
- Frame the photo to the ratio you need. For a platform the ratio is locked automatically; in normal mode you choose it yourself.
- Convert to JPG
- Turns a PNG into a JPG for much stronger compression. Use it when the image has no transparency.
